Tickets are selling fast to the WA Works Sundowner where Lendlease representatives will discuss opportunities for contractors to share in almost $1 billion worth of works over five to seven years.
Lendlease is calling for expressions of interest from contractors after being shortlisted to tender on two contracts for Main Roads WA.
The contracts are for the Metropolitan Network – worth $80-100m per year – and Statewide Electrical Infrastructure – worth about $40m per year.
Lendlease must submit its tender by January 30.
Both contracts are anticipated to be awarded early next year with contract commencement in August 2018.
The contract terms are five years with a possible two-year extension.
If successful, Lendlease would inspect the Metropolitan road network and undertake all routine and planned maintenance related work to road assets as well as minor capital works.
The packages covers a wide range of requirements from litter and graffiti removal to minor capital works including intersection improvements, road widening and seal.
The electrical infrastructure contract includes traffic control signals, electronic signs in school zones and road monitoring cameras.
Once suppliers are registered with Lendlease, Senior Bid Manager Jon Scarth says they are then be eligible to undertake any type of work for the company on Lendlease on any contract.
Lendlease has been operating in WA for more than 50 years and is also undertaking the $1 billion Waterbank project in East Perth.
