Call for feedback from CCI Members

WA’s leading business association CCIWA has undergone a review of its existing corporate structure and constitution.

A Governance Review Committee was appointed in 2017 to consider and report to the Board on the organisation’s governance arrangements.

The Board has accepted the committee’s recommendations and is now consulting with and calling for feedback from CCIWA’s Councillors and Members.

The recommendations include:

  • transfer of CCIWA’s registration from an association under the Association’s Incorporation Act (WA) to a company limited by guarantee under the Corporations Act (Cwlth)
  • adoption of a new contemporary constitution relevant to its change of registration
  • the adoption of a new comprehensive and integrated governance charter.

The following documents are available for viewing:

CCIWA looks forward to receiving any feedback and comments from Councillors and Members on this important initiative.
