
About Us
Established in 1956, the Australian Institute of Export (AIEx) is a national, not-for-profit membership organisation operating in all states of Australia providing practical education and training and a wide range of exporter services and activities.
The Institute's Perth operational base is the International Trade Centre at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA).
AIEx is a member of the Chamber's WA International Alliance and is represented on the CCIWA International Trade Committee. CCIWA is a member of the Institute and is represented on the AIEx Advisory Council (WA).
CCIWA provides the secretariat to the AIEx Advisory Council (WA) and organisational support services for membership, training courses, functions and events, AIEx publication sales, marketing and promotion.

- Industry and Government Representation
The Institute works to ensure the voice of Australia’s small to medium exporters is heard by government and industry. If you become a member we can help you get your message heard on key issues impacting our exporters. What we do:
- Represent the small to medium exporter on Australian Government advisory forums.
- Work with state governments to build Australia's export skills.
- Support state government export missions and initiatives
- Represent the export community on leading logistics bodies including the Australian Logistics Council and state freight councils.
- Work with key bodies to build productivity through developing electronic export facilitation.
