CCI has recently received an update of the Commonwealth Government’s Skill Matching Database.
There are approximately 7,500 applicants on the database for employers.
The top five nominated occupations were Application and Analyst Programmer, Accountant, Systems Manager, Systems Programmer and Systems Designer.
Applications included occupations such as Laboratory Manager, Architectural Associate, Metal Machinist (First Class), Toolmaker and Electrical Engineering Technician.
Other applicants include a number of the occupations in shortage such as Mechanical Engineer, Cook, Refrigeration & Airconditioning Mechanic, Hairdresser and General Electrician.
