Welcome to Apprenticeships Australia’s employee section of our website. 

The purpose of this section is to keep you and all other employees across Australia up to date with crucial OSH, HR and Payroll information.

As you are aware our service places apprentices and trainees, like yourself, with host companies who provide the training and learning environment to learn the skills required to operate at a competent level in your relevant industry area.  Without the support of a large number of host companies it would be impossible for Apprenticeships Australia to provide the apprentice and trainee employment arrangements we currently have in place with yourself.  Apprenticeships Australia and host companies act in a partnership to provide you with a safe, secure and appropriate training environment.

It is extremely important that you apply yourself to the best of your ability in undertaking your work activities when you are with your host company.  Our staff will visit you on a regular basis and talk to yourself, and other employees you work with and the supervisors and managers in the host companies to establish how you are progressing.

The safety and wellbeing of all of our employees is the most important aspect of our business.  You must contact us if you are involved in any incident (including near miss) or accident at a host company so that we are able to ensure the best possible response in terms of medical or other support.  We are proud of our activities in the apprentice and trainee employment area and we are constantly working to provide a better environment for the host companies and our employees.

You have the opportunity to develop a career from the apprenticeship and traineeship activities that you will undertake during your employment.  We urge you to make the most of this opportunity and to work hard to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours you need to succeed in your chosen area.
