Kemerton Industrial Park Draft Strategy Plan - 7 April 2008

CCI supports the Department of Industry and Resources in its establishment of an industrial estate at Kemerton to cater for continued growth in Western Australia's manufacturing sector. With the availability of land in the existing Kwinana heavy industrial area almost exhausted, access to land of suitable quality for development by heavy industry has become an urgent priority.

Draft Report on the Control of Chemicals of Security Concern - 7 April 2008

CCI considers that although the risk of access to chemicals by terrorists and individuals for use in home made weapons can never be completely eliminated, the Draft Report provides a framework that, with joint cooperation between industry and government, aims to minimise the potential for terrorist activity involving chemicals.
