CCI continues to work towards a ‘development model’ that focuses on the drivers, constraints and enablers for the food industry, partnering with industry players (public, private, not-for profit) to optimise their business.

Policy
CCI’s policy development and advocacy work includes detailed written submissions, meetings with government ministers and senior public servants and providing evidence to federal and state ministerial enquiries.
CCI’s policy work aims to develop a legislative environment that is conducive to business and economic developments in the State’s food industry.
News and information
CCI delivers services and products to the State’s food industry to ensure that the interests of industry are appropriately represented. One of the services is a fortnightly newsletter Food Fortnight which will keep food businesses briefed and up to date on the issues and policy directions that affect the WA food industry.
